Tech Goes Home
Starts in January
Would you like the opportunity to purchase a Chromebook for $50?  Enroll in our tech program, attend sessions totally 15 hours of computer training and you can purchase a Chromebook for only $50.  If you would like to enroll in the Tech Goes Home program, please email Michelle Bettis ( Space is limited.  Classes will begin Monday, January 22, 2018 5:45-8:15 pm.  


Middle School:

MS Volleyball tryouts Dec. 11th to Dec. 18th. Be sure to turn in all your forms to Coach Kuberg by Friday, December 8th, room #1231 – Lower Blue/Yellow Connector.


MS FBLA Regionals: Thursday, February 1st, money and permission slips due ASAP


Cane Court Dance: Saturday, December 16th, 6:30-8, Court at 8.

Tickets on sale this week: $10

Also, tickets will be sold by NJHS members during LUNCH all week!! All Cane Court money is due Thursday, December 14th. Remember you must raise $50 to be on the Court. Request songs for the Cane Court dance:


MS students interested in playing golf this spring, come sign up in Coach Hamilton's room 1259. 


High School:

HS FBLA students interested in competing in the upcoming conference, come sign up in Mrs. Johnson's room 1258. Friday, Dec. 15th is the deadline to sign up.

HS Mid-Term Exams
December 12th-15th
Tuesday, December 12th - 1st and 3rd blocks
Wednesday, December 13th - 2nd and 4th blocks
Thursday, December 14th - 5th and 7th blocks
Friday, December 15th - 6th and 8th blocks
Mid-Term Exams will be administered during the regularly scheduled class meeting times on 12/12 - 12/15. Students will be required to attend all scheduled classes on the mid-term exam days. There will be no ½ day dismissals. 2nd Quarter ends on Wednesday, 12/20. Grades will be due in PowerSchool by the end of the day on the 20th so that S1 student failure schedules can be adjusted. Please note that some teachers may adjust this exam schedule to meet their needs. Please check with your teacher to confirm.


EHHS Snowball Dance
Friday, December 15th
Snowball! EH's Christmas semi-formal will be on Friday, Dec. 15th from 7-10pm @ EH in the HS gym. All grades 9-12 may attend. Tickets will be sold for $10 during lunches and will be $15 at the door. Date forms for dates who do not attend EHS are due by Thursday, December 14th.



HS Tennis Parent Meeting
Monday, January 8th
There will be a HS Tennis parent and athlete meeting January 8th at 6:15pm on the Green Hallway in room 1126 for all interested in playing.  Come meet the coaches and be a part of something special!!

SENIORS-Capstone dates for Spring Presenters are as follows:

Wednesday 1/31 Tab 1 due - Parent Consent, Personal Statement, and Resume. This includes a 3-ring binder WITH labeled tabs AND a cover sheet.

Wednesday 2/7 Tab 2 due - Proposal and Letter of Intent

Wednesday 2/14 Tab 3 due - Mentor Information, Interview, and Timesheet

Wednesday 2/21 Tab 4 due - Presentation Outline, Research material, and Works Cited

Tuesday-Thursday 3/6-8 Presentations to the Judges

Friday 3/16 Tab 5 due - Reflection Essay

SENIORS-you will need to turn in the following in order to have a spotlight in the yearbook to Mrs. Jones in the HS Media Center, Lower Yellow room 1251:

  1. Have prestige portraits made (a must for formal pictures)
  2. a casual photo of choice (can be Prestige, but does not HAVE to be)
  3. a baby picture
  4. a senior quote

*all of these (for newspaper and yearbook) will be turned in at one time to avoid any confusion
