Chattanooga State

*  The priority deadline is March 1st for Chattanooga State scholarship application.

*  The two most common scholarships awarded to incoming freshman are Academic Service ($3,800-5,000/year) and Empowerment Grant ($3,600/year).

*  Academic Service requires a 2.9 GPA and 75 service hours on campus each semester.

*  Empowerment Grant requires a 2.0 GPA and at least one of several need-based criteria.

You must have a TigerID and password to apply. There are lots of scholarships to apply for!!!!

Students can receive institutional scholarships in addition to Pell Grant, HOPE Scholarship and TN Promise (with some exceptions).

Chattanooga State typically awards at least $300,000 to incoming freshman each Fall, and they hope to increase that number this year with eligible applicants.
